| Matt McIntyre – Assistant Varsity, Freshman & Sophomore Coach
Coach McIntyre is entering his fifth year with the Hubs Wrestling Program where he has been involved with the growth of the program. Matt attended College at Kishwaukee College before joining the Army where he completed basic training at Ft. Benning and then served at Ft. Stewart, Georgia. He was a member of his Army Base wrestling club where he competed in a won many wrestling tournaments. Matt attended high school at DeKalb High School, DeKalb, Illinois. He wrestled for four years as a Barb, where he was an All-Conference wrestler, a three-year Varsity Letter winner, he wrestled Varsity as a freshman and won both the DeKalb and Fenton Take Down Tournaments, he was also an Upstate Eight Runner-up. Matt was also a two-year varsity letter winner as a member of the Football team and was member of the baseball team. |
| Chris Hager – Assistant Varsity Coach
Coach Hager is entering his 7th year as a coach with the Hubs Wrestling Program. Prior to coaching in Rochelle he served as an assistant coach for the Ashton High School wrestling program for four years. Chris attended high school at Ashton High School, Ashton, Illinois where he was a three time state qualifier as a wrestler and he placed third at the IHSA state-wrestling meet in 1980. In addition to wrestling he was also a two-time state qualifier in Cross Country where he place 11th in 1981, Chris also participated in track and baseball at Ashton High School. Coach Hager has been employed by Nestle for the past 11 years. He resides in the Rochelle area with his wife Susan and their son Tyler. |
